3 Cost-Effective Ways to Market Your Firm

Very little in life is free anymore, but there are still things out there that provide a TON of return for relatively little cost. 1. Build Up Your Social Proof

In other words—get those reviews! Ask past clients (who walked away happy with their result) to leave a review on your firm’s Google listing or anywhere else you’re trying to build a presence like Facebook, Avvo, or Yelp. Potential clients value the number of reviews (and high ratings) when vetting the firms they work with, so if you’re trying to convert colder prospects, having a larger number of 5-star reviews can help close them quicker.

2. Social Media

While it’s free to use social media, you can invest a little bit of money to extend your reach far beyond what the platforms will organically do for you. This is especially true with Facebook, which severely limits a business page’s organic reach. However, for as little as $1 per post, you can get out in front of several hundred people—either those that follow you already, or new audiences that are a fit for your services.

3. Email

The key is to provide value in those emails. Don’t make it a big advertisement to call your firm.
