We’re excited to share the results we’ve delivered for Anchor Law, Life & Legacy Planning, a Wisconsin-based estate planning firm led by attorney John Koenig. When John launched his own firm, he wanted to build a marketing system centered around education, relationship building, and consistently staying in front of prospective clients. After first learning about Spotlight several years earlier, he came back to our team when he was ready to invest in the website and marketing foundation for his new firm.
Since working with Spotlight, Anchor Law has added approximately 350 contacts to its marketing list and generated around 150 workshop registrations. Those contacts give John a growing audience he can continue reaching through newsletters, email campaigns, workshops, and other marketing efforts. Instead of relying on one campaign or one source of leads, the firm is building an audience it can continue nurturing over time.
Spotlight also built Anchor Law’s website and provides John with a team of specialists working across different areas of his marketing. John specifically points to that team approach as one of the biggest advantages of working with Spotlight rather than relying on one person to handle everything. The result is a stronger online presence, a growing marketing database, consistent workshop attendance, and measurable momentum for the firm. “We are Anchor Law, Life and Legacy Planning LLC, focusing on relationship building, less than just the transaction. So many estate planning firms, you meet with a client, you sign a document, and you never see them again.
So it actually goes back several years. I was at a different law firm at that time, but we were at a conference out in Phoenix, and I think one of your guys made a presentation to the attorneys that were there and really focused on, ‘Let’s build your brand by getting information out there. Education.’ That fit really well with me.
So when I started my own firm, I was ready to really take the next step on the website and the marketing. I knew Spotlight was one of the companies I was going to interview, and of course Spotlight came out on top.
Really, the three things that we’re focusing on is building our house list, driving attendance to the workshop, and really an awesome website. Since we started, we’ve added about 350 contacts to our house list, and we’re using those for marketing purposes. You know, sending newsletters, email campaigns, different things.
And then on the workshop side of things, we’ve had about 150 registrations for our workshop over that time period as well. And of course, Spotlight built an awesome website.
Number one, very good at what they do. Number two, the team that they built and put together that works with you. You know, you’re not just with one person doing everything. You’ve got specialists in each area working together as a team.
The collaboration is great. The products are great. Reasonable in price, in my opinion. And I think anybody that would join and use Spotlight would have an advantage of being able to get great product out in the marketing and website areas.”
