Don’t just keep that glory to yourself. Let your audience know! Show it off and be proud. Here are the best ways to do it.
1. Explain the Award
Write up a quick press release and provide some contextual information about the award. After all, most people may not understand the significance of being named a SuperLawyer even though only 5% of attorneys are awarded the honor. Providing a few sentences about the award, its significance, and what it means to you and your firm can help your audience understand just how big of a deal it is.
2. Share the News (A LOT!)
Don’t just post your press release and sequester it away on some hidden part of your website. Share it on your social media channels multiple times over the next few weeks. Share it in your email newsletter. Place a badge or graphic on a prominent part of your website. Make a big deal out of it (because it is a big deal)!
3. Make It Part of Your Messaging
If you’re a board-certified lawyer, you’re likely mentioning that as a qualifier when you describe yourself on your website. Do the same thing with awards you won.
After all, calling yourself an [INSERT ANY AWARD NAME HERE] award-winning attorney is more captivating than just calling yourself a family law attorney (or whatever practice area you’re in).
Winning an award is something to celebrate and brag about! It enhances your reputation and should become a core part of your marketing strategy. Don’t be shy about it!
