The world of content is constantly changing. There are always new trends, styles, and concepts popping up. The biggest change, however, is the transition to more and more video content. Thanks mostly to TikTok (and Instagram’s and YouTube’s subsequent responses with Reels and Shorts), people are consuming more and more video content than ever before.
One of the biggest points of concern for many creators is their ability (or lack thereof) to edit their videos to make them look great. These five apps, however, are designed to make it as easy as possible for you.
5. Lumen5
Lumen5 has been called “the PowerPoint of video editing” thanks to its ease of use. Not only does it allow you to create talking head videos, but it allows you to turn your blog posts into video as well thanks to an extensive library of images, video footage, and music to bring your content to life.
4. Splice
This app provides more easy-to-use features than the standard video editing app on your phone. Splice has a very user-friendly interface that allows you to drag and drop with your phone to make all of the edits you need.
3. Ripl
While not necessarily a video editing app, Ripl brands itself as an all-in-one tool for your social media marketing. One of it elements, though, contains the ability for you to create visually engaging video ads that drive conversions.
2. Animoto
Animoto has several easy-to-use templates that can help you create amazing-looking videos to help educate, market, or show off your firm. You can easily drag and drop the footage you shot into one of their templates and then use their easy editor to make them look great.
1. CapCut
While things change quickly in the tech world, as of this writing, CapCut is by far the most popular video editing app, especially on TikTok. It’s free and can be accessed via your browser, a desktop app, or on your phone. They provide reasonably accurate auto-captions and an easily navigable user interface that will make you feel like a video editing pro in no time.
As with any series of apps, we recommend you try all of them to see which layout and UX match your comfort level. You can’t go wrong with any of these choices, so download them today and see what you can create!
